A group of West Coast clubs held the first U.S. Mini Meet in Reno, Nevada back in 1973. There were 43 paid registrations at the first meet. Eventually, the Meet became known as the 1st Mini Meet West after the start up of the Mini Meet East events in 1975.
Mini Meet West 2016 is hosted by the Mini Owners of America Los Angeles, MOALA. and their venue is Crowne Plaza San Diego located close to Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcalá, the first Franciscan mission in the Las Californias Province of the Vice royalty of New Spain. The dates are June 6th-9th, 2016. Many participants will want to come early and / or stay an extra day or more to enjoy the many recreational opportunities available in the area.
